The Mongolian Non-Bank Financial Institutions Association has donated MNT 100 million to the State Emergency Commission to support efforts aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 and reducing associated risks.

This donation campaign was joined by Transcapital along with 61 non-bank financial institutions, all members of the association.

In addition, during the period of heightened state preparedness declared by the Government to combat COVID-19, the association has called on its member organizations to take the following measures:

• Protect the rights and interests of financial consumers
• Support micro and small business owners
• Reduce loan interest rates where possible
• Waive loan service fees (0%)
• Avoid placing additional financial burden on clients and borrowers

The NBFI Association emphasized its commitment to implementing these measures in support of citizens and businesses during this challenging time.
