Transcapital NBFI has been honored with the “Best Social Responsibility Implementer” award at the “Golden Star” awards ceremony, organized by the Mongolian Non-Bank Financial Institutions Association (MNBFIA).

Since its establishment in 2001, Transcapital has been working to expand access to microfinance services across Mongolia. Over the past 20 years, the organization has provided financial services to more than 155,000 clients through its 35 branches nationwide.

Key Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives:

• Regularly organizing financial literacy training for citizens and clients
• Implementing programs to support women entrepreneurs, and  working with international financial institutions to help MSMEs overcome pandemic-related challenges
• Introducing an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)
• Adopting international best practices such as the Smart Campaign Client Protection Principles and Sustainable Finance Principles
• Collaborating with the Credit Guarantee Fund to support micro-entrepreneurs
• Organizing regular blood donation campaigns in partnership with MNBFIA and the National Center for Transfusion Medicine
• Partnering with GERES International NGO on the “SOAP -1” project to reduce air pollution, including offering green loan products to clients
