Transcapital NBFI has secured financing equivalent to USD 4 million under the “Central Asia Youth in Business Program” (YiB CA) to support entrepreneurs under 35 years old.

The official launch event took place on December 12, 2023, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). During the event, Transcapital CEO Altanzul.Z  and Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Business Group at the EBRD, Francis Malige, signed the financing agreement and joined a panel discussion with representatives from banks, financial institutions, and businesses from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to discuss the unique challenges faced by young entrepreneurs and strategies to improve financial access.

As one of the pioneering NBFIs in Mongolia, Transcapital has been supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) since 2001, providing tailored financial products, advisory services, and capacity-building initiatives designed to enhance business performance and unlock growth opportunities.

Through this partnership, young entrepreneurs will gain access to not only financing but also a range of non-financial services designed to strengthen business skills, enhance knowledge, and overcome barriers such as limited collateral, insufficient credit history, and lack of business experience.
