Transcapital NBFI has been awarded the GOLD AWARD in the “Gender and Economic Inclusion” category of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Sustainable Development Awards.
The recognition was announced during EBRD’s 33rd Business Forum, held under the banner of “Delivering Impact Together”. in Yerevan, Armenia from May 14–16, 2024.
The EBRD Sustainable Development Awards are presented annually across six categories to partner organizations that make sustainable development a core focus of their operations and demonstrate measurable impact. This year, 63 international projects were nominated for the awards.
As part of the “Central Asia Women in Business Program”, Transcapital received USD 4,550,000 in financing from EBRD, which it uses to provide special financing for women entrepreneurs. Beyond lending, Transcapital delivers comprehensive capacity-building services through its Entrepreneur Development Center, including training, seminars, advisory support, and networking opportunities for clients.
