Transcapital NBFI was honored as the “Best Implementer of Social Responsibility 2024” and received the Golden Star Award. The annual “Golden Star” ceremony, organized by the Association of Mongolian Non-Bank Financial Institutions, was held on December 14, 2024. Transcapital was recognized for its work under its Sustainable Finance Policy, earning the award once again for its impactful contributions.

Transcapital, through programs such as the “Central Asia Women in Business Program” and the “Youth in Business Program”, in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), provides special financing options to women entrepreneurs and young business owners. Additionally, through its Entrepreneur Development Center, Transcapital offers a comprehensive set of non-financial services to help businesses scale to the next level. As of October 2024, the company has organized 41 urban and rural events, reaching 3,439 participants and clients.

Transcapital also continues to provide green loans for projects that are environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and reduce air and soil pollution. In partnership with the international organization WaterEquity, the company offers green financing products aimed at improving household drinking water quality and reducing soil pollution. Under the EU SWITCH-Asia funded “SOAP II” project, Transcapital provides green insulation loans for private homes in ger districts to reduce air pollution, at an interest rate of 6% per year.

  • Global Money Week 2024: In partnership with local branches of the Bank of Mongolia, Transcapital conducted financial literacy activities under the motto “Protect your money, secure your future”, reaching 1,620 children and youth.
  • Participation in Global Money Week 2024 and the Global Savings Campaign was reported in the OECD International Network on Financial Education (INFE) consolidated report.
  • As part of the One Billion Trees National Movement, Transcapital’s staff planted 8,100 trees.
  • Transcapital was awarded the “Best ToS Financial Institution 2024”, recognizing successful implementation of Sustainable Finance Principles, promotion of the green economy, and significant contributions to sustainable development.
  • For its impact in financial inclusion, Transcapital became the first Mongolian financial institution to receive the GOLD AWARD in the “Gender and Economic Participation” category of the EBRD Sustainable Development Awards 2024.
