Transcapital NBFI has officially partnered in the Twinning Partnership Program, with the memorandum of cooperation signing ceremony held on March 10, 2025, at the ceremonial hall of the Bank of Mongolia.

The program aims to support gender equality and women’s participation as outlined in Goal 5 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and to ensure effective engagement of populations at risk of being left behind. The initiative contributes to implementing the second objective under Mongolia’s Government Gender Equality Strategy (2022–2031), which focuses on promoting equal economic opportunities and participation across sectors.

The program is jointly implemented, involving financial institutions on one side, and NGOs supporting women entrepreneurs in startups, micro, small, and medium enterprises, and trade and services on the other.

On this day, representatives from 15 organizations signed the memorandum to formalize their collaboration.

Since 2021, Transcapital NBFI has been the first financial institution in Mongolia to implement the Central Asia Women Entrepreneurs Program, funded by We-Fi (Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative) under the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This program not only provides financial access to micro, small, and medium enterprises but also regularly conducts trainings and activities to help businesses scale to the next level. To date, over 3,500 entrepreneurs have participated across 41 types of programs.
